more than words

i'm one of those people who will say you've been to one wedding, you've been to all of them. well, i attended one of the best wedding ceremonies in my life yesterday. sandra (my brother's sister-in-law) married her bf of six plus years frank in a beautiful botanical garden in somis, ca. in front of family and friends, they exchanged vows in sign language. both are deaf and mute (as were a lot of the guests). there was an interpreter, but i focused on the way sandra and frank expressed their love, and promised a lifetime of commitment to each other without uttering a single word. just their hands and facial expressions. there was not one dry eye throughout the whole thing. i am so blessed to have them as part of my extended family.
