london...day one

the flight out of los angeles went well, pretty boring, actually. i don't recommend american airlines to london. then again, i had the royal treatment flying last september (united business class). we arrived this afternoon at heathrow, and the weather here is beautiful. not a drop of rain so far. fingers are crossed. it's a little chilly, but the walking around keeps us warm. we checked in to picadilly backpackers around 5, got ready, then had dinner at balans cafe in leicester square. we then walked to trafalgar square, big ben, then over to the london eye. it's my second time riding the wheel, but i got a nighttime view of the city. it's more gorgeous than i can remember. i'm at the apple store on oxford street, charging my ipod and catching up on emails. i'm not even going to check the work account from here.

we are going to check prices for the stonehenge/bath/windsor castle tour for tomorrow. we are setting the entire day for that. if we still have energy (we may make an exception), we will check out club heaven. we are heading back to the hostel to get ready after this, relaxing and showering, then over to club g-a-y at the astoria theater. i'm so looking forward to eighties and nineties techno puta and pop dance music. loves it.
