i didn't want to like it...

but i did. damn you, borat for being the funniest movie i've seen all year (well, probably until i watch for your consideration). i had a fantastic weekend. i got the coolest fucking tshirt at h&m friday night, followed by dinner at kate mantilini (on wilshire) and dessert at cheesecake factory in pasadena, both with jeff and errica. i woke up early saturday morning to pick up my credentials for the american music awards, then attended orientation for divine design (my volunteer gig in december) at weho park. i'm so excited about this event. they placed me as "merchandiser" so that means i get to watch people shop for expensive shit, all in the name of charity. i'd have hated being a cashier and get stuck behind a register for four hours. anyway, i then chilled for a bit and then went over to john's house with angela, errica and jeff. manny pacquiao won his fight that night (we were running late, so we missed the fight) but john's mom had so much food left. sot called me (5 am for him) and we chatted for a bit, even though he had a little bit to drink and was ready to pass out. i woke up early to go to the gym yesterday, then drove to moorpark and hang with the fam. my mom's childhood friend was visiting and she couldn't believe it when she saw me. i was 10 years old the last time she saw me, so there was a big difference there hehe. i headed back to hollywood last night, picked jeff up, and we checked out the tree lighting ceremony at the grove. we didn't stay very long because it was packed and all we wanted was to hear jojo sing. we left after her song, and then decided to watch borat at the vista theater. i had my mouth open in disbelief for most of the movie, with all the shit he pulled off onscreen. the cockroaches! the national anthem at the rodeo! the hooker at the dining society house! i loved it, so again, damn you sasha baron cohen!
